Do not think you’re a hypocrite. You become a hypocrite only when you try to hide your sins from God. Confess them and seek the cleansing through the precious blood of Jesus.
Do not wait for the right moment. Do not wait for the next day. Seek His forgiveness and washing with His precious blood the moment you realize you’ve sinned.
Delays can cause you to further go into sin. So act now. His power is available to lead you to victory.
Even as you read this open your heart to the love of Jesus. Just thank Him for dying on the Cross of Calvary for you. Thank Him for shedding His precious blood for you.
Thank Him for accepting you as His child. Thank Him for His promise to never leave you nor forsake you. Just allow the Spirit of God to move in your heart now. Let Him cleanse your heart.
And above all thank God for giving you the victory over sin. Are you surprised by this statement? Are you thinking how you can thank God while you had continued to fall into sin all these years?
Do not be surprised. You can thank God for your victory in faith; for “faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see” (Hebrews 11:1 NIV). So as you are hoping for victory thank God for it in faith.
As you do not see victory now thank God for it in advance in faith. And you shall soon see the power of God released in victory in your life.
The “same incomparably great power” that “mighty strength” which God exerted when He raised Jesus from the dead is at work in you now (Ephesians 1:18-20) to crown you with victory!
