One who breaks open the way will go up before them; they will break through the gate and go out. Their king will pass through before them, the Lord at their head –(Micah 2:13 NIV).
Our God is One who breaks open ways where none exists. As Christians we often come to dead ends in life. At these points in our walk of faith we see no way ahead. And to add to the intensity of our struggle, we find that there are many huge barriers too in front of us.
Such situations are given to us by God Himself. This is to teach us some of the great lessons in the walk of faith. God wants us to know that dead ends and barriers will not stop Him from working on our behalf.
He wants to manifest His great power that can transform all obstacles to broad gateways of opportunities. The obstacles are placed in front of us so that we may be endued with power from God to break through the gate.
We can fail in our walk of faith quite easily at the dead ends if we are not watchful. It is natural that thoughts of helplessness storm your mind at such hours.
But there is no need to go under them. This is the time to season our faith for some daring exploits for we have a God who breaks open the gate and leads the way!
It is this truth that we have to learn. That it is God who leads. There is no need to overtake the Leader. Let Him lead, for before Him all obstacles shall melt into a smooth flowing pathway. Let us be meek enough to follow.
Let Him call out the orders and let us be obedient enough to march to His tune. Then we shall walk where He has already gone ahead!
