God’s Best Music comes from Flawed Instruments  (Part 4) Inferiority Because of Feelings of Insignificance

There are many Christians who suffer because they think that they are insignificant. If you are one of those, right away, let me ask you a logical question: “Would Christ have died for you if you were insignificant?”

Can you answer this question honestly? If you can, your thoughts of insignificance would disappear immediately!

Or, can’t you remember what Jesus said about you being of more value than the birds of the air and the grass of the field? That is one big reason why He takes care of you. So you are significant indeed.

He is a God who takes note of even two very small copper coins offered by a poor widow. Will He then forget to take note of you or what you do?

Are you made to feel insignificant by others? Do not lose heart. Listen to what God has to say:“Do not be afraid, O worm Jacob, O little Israel, for I myself will help you.” “See, I will make you into a threshing sledge, new and sharp, with many teeth” (Ref. Isaiah 41:14,15 NIV).

Have you been made to feel LITTLE like a WORM by others? God shall make you strong out of your weakness. He shall give you a cutting edge over those who made you feel insignificant. So prepare for being significant.

Are you thinking that all your labor for God has gone waste? Are you discouraged that no one appreciates your work for God?

If that is the reason why you feel insignificant; then this is God’s promise to you today:“God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them” (Hebrews 6:10 NIV).

But the key to this blessing is, not giving up. Not going back. Not falling away. But keeping on with God.
